It offers all the beach and water sports you love, a variety of shopping and dining options, and popular activities. Plus, it’s an hour’s drive from Orlando, which is Florida’s theme park haven.

Nightlife:
 Cocoa Beach Pier offers several restaurants and bars and one of the best accompaniments to any nightlife: LIVE MUSIC.
Marlins Good Times Bar & Grill offers favorite American fare and seafood plus a great view of the ocean. Farther out on the over 800-foot pier you’ll find The Boardwalk for cocktails, ocean breezes, and live entertainment.
The Mai Tiki Bar is the farthest yet and perfect for that Florida sunset. The Pier isn’t the only place for live music and nightlife, but it’s certainly a favorite.

Cocoa Beach is part of the Space Coast, the name given to the Florida area around Kennedy Space Center. This is a great place to tour or to sign up for various family or student-friendly programs. And Kennedy isn’t the only space-themed attraction around. You’ll also find the Astronaut Memorial Planetarium & Observatory, which is Florida’s largest planetarium. Other popular activities at Cocoa Beach include its Skate Park, Jungle Adventures gator park, and Ron Jon Surf Shop – not exactly a theme park, but definitely a must-see Cocoa Beach attraction with everything you could need for water fun.
Cocoa Beach offers some of the best surfing on Florida’s east coast, and it’s a favorite water sport for the area. Deep-sea fishing is a popular daytime activity on the famous pier. The beach offers volleyball and other classic in-the-sand activities from castles to sunbathing.
