Los Angeles Two Day Museum Adventure

Just south of Downtown LA, off of Figueroa Street, there are several Museums for your group to check out.

Day 1

  • LANatural History Museum – Featuring more than 33 million specimens and artifacts as well as skeletons of a T-rex and Triceratops in the foyer, your group is sure to love this museum. Halls feature gems and minerals, bugs, and dioramas.
  • California African American Museum – Focusing on the African American experience from the west coast of Africa to the west coast of the United States.
  • Original Pantry Restaurant – An LA classic with a diner-style atmosphere.

Day 2

  • California Science Center – Known for its intriguing hands-on exhibits about everything from seeing how a periscope works to searching for camouflaged tree frogs. In the air and aircraft galleries, don’t miss a Wright glider, an A-12 Blackbird (made mostly of titanium), a Bell helicopter and a Tiger shark fighter jet.
  • IMAX Theater – Your group will get to enjoy an IMAX film on the seven-story IMAX screen—the largest in Los Angeles .
