Day 1
- Begin in Paris. Transfer from the airport is provided as well as executive motorcoach for all transportation and guided tours for much of the sightseeing.
- Today: The Eiffel Tower and dinner at an authentic Paris restaurant.
Day 2
- Another full day in Paris with the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre, perhaps the most famous art museum in the world and host to the brilliant Mona Lisa.
Day 3
- Visit Montmartre, the highest hill in Paris, topped by the white Sacre-Coeur basilica and known for its rural charm. Dinner in Paris.
Day 4
- Take an excursion to Versailles and view the magnificence of the 17th century French monarchy through its palace and state apartments. Dinner in Paris.
Day 5
- Take the train to Basin d’Arcachon, a haven for outdoor-lovers with beaches, surf, pine forests, sand dunes, villages, and so much to explore.
Day 6
- Spend the day at Aqualand, an exciting water park not far from Arcachon.
Day 7
- Return to Paris by train and then to Lisieux in the French region of Normandy. This tour is steeped in history with a succession of abbeys, harbors, and cliffs.
Day 8
- Visit Normandy’s D-Day beaches and the Caen Memorial, dedicated to twentieth century history from World War II on. You’ll also see the Lisieux Basilica, one of the largest churches from its time.
Day 9
- Return to Paris and visit the largest cathedral in Europe, Chartres Cathedral. Dinner at a Paris restaurant.
Day 10
- Depart for home.
