The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is a world-class convention, sports and entertainment complex in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Dome, CNN Center and Philips Arena. Enclosing some 3.9 million feet in exhibition space, the GWCC hosts more than a million visitors each year; it is the fourth-largest and first state-owned convention center established in the United States. In addition to fabulous conferences and trade shows, the GWCC frequently coordinates with the Georgia Dome to host activities in conjunction with major dome events, and annually hosts SEC Football Fanfare, an exciting two-day fan festival for the throngs of Southeastern Conference football fans in town for the SEC Championship Game. The Center consists of three adjacent buildings housing twelve exhibit halls, 106 meeting rooms, and two grand ballrooms; amenities include a gift shop, a FedEx Kinko’s office, Starbucks coffee shops, internet access, telephone service, a concierge desk, food court and restaurant. Freight rail tracks run through the middle of the complex and under the parking decks and the complex incorporates pedestrian bridges to connect exhibit halls on opposite sides of the tracks.
