When you are planning your student group tour to Williamsburg you may want to include a day at Go-ape Treetop Zip Line Adventure. The students will have a great time being challenged by the different zip courses at the park. Students of all ages will enjoy this fun adventure. There are several obstacle courses for you to explore. One of the choices is known as the Treetop Junior Adventure which is for students who are younger than 10 years of age to enjoy. The course will take an hour and a half to complete. There are 20 obstacles throughout the course that students must cross to complete the challenge. The course consists of two zip lines. Another course is the Go Ape Adventure which is for students 10 years of age or older. This is an exciting adventure with five zip lines on the course. During your challenge, you will come across 37 obstacle crossings. The group will encounter obstacles such as the Trapeze, the Wobbly Ladder, the Big U and Spider’s Web, and two Tarzan swings. This course was voted #1 in the eastern region of Virginia by “Virginia Living Magazine.” Zip line five which is the final one on the course, is a 600 foot ride. Prior to your adventure, you will have a 30 minute briefing by an instructor on the rules of safety. After the session, the students will be free to swing through the trees. However, if there is a problem during the course, the instructors are on hand to answer questions or assist students if necessary.
